Share Square is the digital public square where all Open Social’s masters of sharing can get together to chat, exchange knowledge, engage in discussions, and share ideas.

To those that are new to this company and community, Open Social provides top-tier online community software purpose-built for bringing people together online in a centralized space where they can communicate, collaborate, connect and share expertise and experiences from anywhere in the world. In fact, ShareSquare itself is an Open Social-powered platform! 

The Open Social team is energetic and innovative and love to share new ideas or start thought-provoking conversations. That is why we have ShareSquare. Here you will find regularly updated discussions, events, groups, and more. These can be related to Open Social, or simply to something someone finds interesting or entertaining. More importantly: Share Square is also an opportunity for us to experience and explore our own product!  

Here’s how it works! 

First of all, if you are new to Open Social, ask one of your new teammates to invite you to Share Square so you can create an account. Don't forget to upload a profile image so people can recognize you!

Next...

Head over to the ‘Community’ tab in the menu to get an overview of all different types of information in your community. The categories you’ll find there are:

• Community activities. Explore all the current community activities, including groups/events you are not a member of. Head over to the home screen stream for a more personal overview of community activities.
• All groups. Browse through all the open groups that you can join on Share Square.  Are you new to Share Square? See our recommended groups! And read about our group guidelines before you create one.
• All events. Browse all the events you can join with your co-workers. From Tech Day to after-work drinks and Drupal events - these are not to miss!
• All topics. Ready for a discussion? Topics are the place to share ideas and content with your coworkers. Don’t forget to add your own!
• All members. Learn who you are sharing this community with.
